Scheme of works for using a scanner, digital camera and Photoshop Course spring 2004
Basics of taking photos ..... This includes:
What to think about when taking a picture
Looking at the edge of the frame
Try keeping both eyes open when you look through a view finder, that way you'll catch things which you might miss when one eye is closed.
Thinking about the position and the direction a sitter is looking may determine the balance of a composition.
The photo filter. Image > Adjustment > Photo filter
Taking photos of people doing something
We were asked to photograph another class to see if we could come up with a picture they could use for a leaflet. The problem was that there were more of us taking photographs than there were people to take pictures of.
What would have been better would have been to let the class happen and just have one photographer try to pick up something of the reality of the situation.
Anyway here are some of the pictures we took over a ten minute period - Yes I know it's another excuse!
