" New business development of new clients for leading Apple service provider within the creative/design industry. This involved setting up a new approach to increase new business for their support services and consultancy following the redundancy of eight of their sales people. I successfully helped to increase new business and customer awareness using assertive cold calling, targeted lead generation, e-mailing and marketing, arranging and attending appointments with new and existing clients and coordinating follow-up activities. Building excellent relationships with potential clients, I cleaned up, increased and maintained the company database and records.

" New business development manager for this new monthly newsletter featuring new technology, start-ups and innovation policy, I provided a hands-on approach to increase the number of subscribers. This involved cold-calling, lead generation, marketing campaigns and client visits. Working alongside the editor I also organised a successful 80 delegate conference in Central London and found a major sponsor. I also attended exhibitions to increase their customer awareness.

" New business development and net-worker to increase business revenue and lead generation for this office furniture service provider and Knoll dealer. This involved working alongside the sales manager providing cold-calling, networking, arranging appointments and setting up a contact database.

" Telemarketing project following a marketing campaign for financial services provider.. This involved assertive cold calling and arranging appointments. I devised methods and telesales scripts for future telemarketing employees to increase appointment- making calls.

" Starting a new training division within a technology organisation. Based in the centre of Harrow they had 3 training rooms available for immediate use and aimed to provide a successful PC Application training company.
Working alongside a newly appointed training manager I conducted a successful marketing campaign to businesses within the Harrow area. Prospecting for new business by assertive cold calling, arranging appointments and visiting potential clients, all activities were monitored and new and repeat sales achieved. Clients included Bovis, BP Energy and Harrow and Hillingdon Healthcare Trust. Once up and running I was responsible for recruiting and training a new sales team.

" New Business Development manager for an IT training supplier. This new company provided on-site and public
training courses in O-O Analysis and design and , programming to both new and existing clients. This involved
