Hi I’m Simon Mark Smith, I make music, you can probably hear some of it using the player on the right.
I recently bought Native Instrument’s Komplete Ultimate and Strummed Acoustic 2 and thought it was very frustrating that I couldn’t record the sound out put directly in to Cubase as an audio track. Maybe there’s a way of doing it but I missed it.
This was my work around.

Firstly create a group track, I called it Kontakt Output, for example

Then set the output of your original Kontakt instrument track to that group track you just created (Kontakt Output). (I clicked on the e on the track to get the window with the EQ settings on it to pop up then changed the output there, you can also do it in the mixer window too)

I then set up a new audio channel and set it’s input to the group channel I’d called Kontakt Output.

Now when you record on that new stereo audio track it will record the sound coming out of the Kontakt Instrument in real time.
Hope that’s useful
